On a snowy day in January, while many stayed in to escape the cold, Ryan Wolfe begins his workday at YMCA Bethesda. His desk is in the fitness room, but he doesn’t stay seated long. He’s out helping members get acquainted with new workout equipment, answering questions or concerns about fitness and lending a listening ear to regulars.

When I was home for the holidays, I noticed I ate fruits and veggies non-stop. I was caught off guard… I mean, hey, haven’t I always been eating a lot of fruits and veggies? The difference was how much I enjoyed what I was eating, and how much more I craved. The secret was the never-ending bowl of fruits and veggies sitting on our kitchen table. Anytime I walked through, it just made sense to grab another orange. So, I came back to my own house on a mission: to keep a full fruit basket on my table just like my mom. And I love it!
