DC’s Rock ‘n’ Roll race is one-of-a-kind as you can find mental strength in some of the nation’s most famous and inspiring sights. Boasting revamped courses with a new start line on Constitution Avenue, this race submerges you in the DC culture – from monuments and museums to some of the most up-and-coming neighborhoods such as H Street NE. Even better, you get live bands and cheer squads. The course even ends with a post-race finish line concert!

Holly Morris of FOX5 Morning News joined us at YMCA Anthony Bowen this morning for a very special celebration: the kick-off of Black History Month at the nation's first YMCA to serve African Americans.
She introduced viewers to a whole new side of the Y: a walk through the history of Anthony Bowen, our Youth Academy activities in action, and a cooking session with Kristy who cooked healthy soul food alongside our Fit & Well Seniors.
