This weekend, our YMCA was pulling double duty with 12 Healthy Kids Day events and the 3rd annual USA Science and Engineering Fair at the Convention Center – all in the name of youth development. At the #SciFest, kids learned to create their own “Sound Sandwiches.” It was a phenomenal hit for almost 1,000 children and families a day who visited the YMCA booth – the hum was heard throughout the building! You can say – we made an resounding impression. Thanks to our Y team for another impactful day of STEM and for giving youth more reasons to love such an innovative field!
